RA GAMES s.r.o. acts as the controller when processing your personal data. With this document we fulfil our information duty under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on personal data protection. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO); we are happy to answer questions by e-mail at recepcia@mamutrevuca.sk or in person at the reception.
Why we process your data (purposes and legal bases)
1. Accommodation reservation and performance of the contract
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).
- Scope of data: identification and contact data (e-mail, phone), payment data.
- Consequence of not providing: providing the data is a contractual requirement; without it we cannot create a reservation or provide accommodation.
2. Records and reporting of stays of Slovak citizens (guest book)
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR pursuant to Act No. 253/1998 Coll. on the reporting of residence of citizens of the SR.
- Consequence of not providing: required by law; without it we may not provide accommodation.
3. Records and reporting of stays of foreign nationals
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR pursuant to Act No. 404/2011 Coll. on the residence of foreign nationals.
- Consequence of not providing: required by law; without presenting documents (passport/ID) a foreign national cannot be accommodated.
4. Collection of the local accommodation tax for the municipality
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in accordance with Act No. 582/2004 Coll. on local taxes and the applicable general binding regulation of the municipality of Revúca.
5. Processing of accounting documents and invoicing
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR; data is retained on invoices in accordance with the Accounting Act and the Act on archives and registries.
6. Recovery of damages and receivables and handling of complaints
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest) – protection of property, legal defence of interests and handling of complaints.
7. CCTV monitoring of the premises
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest) – protection of property, safety of guests and detection of crime.
8. Marketing and newsletter
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (direct marketing towards existing clients). We process only the e-mail address; you can unsubscribe at any time.
Recipients of the data
- Reservation and point-of-sale (POS) system: the online reservation system on the mamutrevuca.sk domain – processing of reservations and payments.
- Accounting services: an external accounting company or invoicing software provider.
- State and local authorities: the municipality of Revúca (accommodation tax) and the Foreign Police (for foreign nationals).
- Third-party web, analytics and marketing tools (e.g. Google, Meta/Facebook) and a cookie consent management tool; the current list is available at nastavenia cookies na mamutrevuca.sk.
Note: our internal servers and storage are located in secure data centres within the Slovak Republic and the EU. Some tools (e.g. Google, Meta) may process data outside the EU on the basis of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
